Texas-based Agile Tortoise today announces Phraseology 2.0, a free update to their popular iPad writing app. Phraseology features a simple, easy-to-use text editor with tools focused on making your writing better. Version 2.0 is a free update that brings Phraseology's unique Arrange and Inspect feature up to date for iOS 7 and adds great new features like iCloud, Dropbox-based version control and as-you-type syntax highlighting for parts of speech.

A simple text editor with tools focused on making your writing better. Phraseology 1.0 reached the top 15 in the iPad paid charts on it's initial release in December, 2011 - and has been featured on The New Yorker, Macworld and many other outlets. Phraseology 2.0 brings the app up to date with the latest technologies in iOS 7, while adding some great new features.
Phraseology distinguishes itself from other iPad text editor with unique "Arrange" and "Inspect" features. The Arrange feature allows drag and drop re-ordering of paragraphs and sentences, and the "Inspect" feature provides detailed statistics (word/sentence counts, average syllables per word, word per sentence, etc.), common readability and grade level scoring, and part of speech/root word breakdowns of word usage.
